When William joined the school he lacked confidence and an understanding of social situations and his family worried about the future that lay ahead for their son/grandson.
William works closely with his Allocated One To One, Gill, who has helped him to identify his strengths and use those strengths to set up a little business creating and selling gift cards gaining confidence and practising work skills. The school has helped Will to understand the challenges of his diagnosis and to overcome them.
William is very musical and plays many instruments, he is part of the school band and each week has internal work experience as a music assistant.
He is currently undertaking an NVQ in motor mechanics at a local college, exploring his interest in the subject.
