Become a Licensed Trade Charity Volunteer

The Licensed Trade Charity is looking for skilled volunteers to help deliver its work.  Our national volunteering programmes are made up of people, both working and retired, who enjoy using their skills and experience to help others.

Commitment is down to the volunteer – and ranges from half an hour a fortnight on the phone to two or three days a month, out and about visiting people in their homes.

For people looking to build their skills, the programmes offer the chance to do this.  The charity provide regular training and feedback.  We have even had people move on to new jobs as a result of their work with us.

No experience is necessary, just the willingness to listen and help.

The charity was established over 200 years ago by people who wanted to provide support and a safety net for people from the licensed trade who find themselves in difficulty.

Interested? Email or call Hilary on  01344 898550

What happens next?   We will send you more information and invite you to have a chat about the roles we have.

“I have skills that benefit the Charity, and to be honest, you just fit it in.  I get a real buzz out of doing something different, and useful.”
