CHARITY SERVICES
Helping people working in or retired from the drinks trade, facing a personal or family problem.
The Licensed Trade Charity is run by people who are passionate about making a difference in other people’s lives – helping people, young and old, to be self-reliant and achieve their personal best.
Our entire organisation – from our Trustee Body to our employees and volunteers – consists of people who genuinely care about making a positive difference in others’ lives. This passion for others is woven into the fabric of who we are and what we do.

A proud Heritage
The charity was set up over 200 years ago by people running pubs who wanted to take care of others within their industry who were less fortunate. We are proud that our Charity continues to be at the heart of the pub community that is so valuable in today’s society.
The Charity has modernized and widened its remit since it was first established – with the addition of two types of school (Independent mainstream and Special Educational Needs) to give children the very best start in life.
